Buffalo Grove is one of the most diverse and fastest-growing communities in the Chicagoland area, and The Buffalo Grove Invitational Fine Art Festival draws artists from a wide range of locations, including the United States, Canada and Israel. This year’s festival features a wonderfully chosen, juried group of approximately 150 artists: all thrilled to showcase their art to nearly 32,000 fest visitors.

2nd Annual Nature-Palooza

Come out to celebrate the 2nd Annual Nature-Palooza. This is a community clean-up event that includes walkign tours, conversation tips, and hands-on participation to improve your community. This festival has a long and rich history in the North Shore. Located in Skokie, the North Shore Festival of Art is a free, two-day, fine art festival showcasing approximately 150 juried artists from all across the United States and Canada. The artists display stunning works in a large variety of mediums, including painting, photography, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood and more!

The Wings of Freedom Tour [More Info]

Participating in the Collings Foundation's WINGS OF FREEDOM TOUR, the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress "Nine O Nine" WWII Heavy Bomber, Consolidated B-24 Liberator "Witchcraft" WWII Heavy Bomber, and the North American B-25 Mitchell WWII Medium Bomber, will fly into Chicago Executive Airport in Chicago, IL for a visit from July 27 to July 30.
Adults: $10
Children 12 and under: $5
2:00 PM through 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 27
9:30 AM through 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 28
9:30 AM through 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 29
9:30 AM through 12:00 PM on Monday, July 30.
